Inspired Dance Film Festival 2026

Stories in Every Step

Inspired Dance Film Festival returns for its 7th season, bringing dance to the screen through a diverse collection of films from Australia and around the world.

From bold short films and intimate documentaries to experimental works and stories that celebrate culture, identity and connection, IDFF 2026 showcases the many ways dance can move us — on screen and beyond.

This year’s festival combines in-cinema screenings in Sydney with an Online Digital Suite, giving audiences the opportunity to discover extraordinary dance filmmaking wherever they are.

Across the festival, experience curated screening events, filmmaker stories, audience connection and the IDFF Gala Screening & Awards, celebrating outstanding work from the 2026 season.
