Inspired Dance Film Festival returns for its seventh season in 2026, continuing its mission to champion bold, original, and emotionally resonant dance cinema from around the world.

What began as a platform dedicated to elevating dance on screen has grown into an international meeting point for filmmakers, choreographers, dancers, and audiences who believe in the power of movement as storytelling.

Season 7 will feature a curated program of international and Australian dance films spanning narrative, documentary, experimental, cultural, queer, youth, mobile device, and live performance capture works. The festival celebrates artists who push creative boundaries and explore the intersection of dance, film, music, identity, and human connection.

For 2026, IDFF is evolving beyond the traditional screening model, with a stronger focus on immersive event experiences, industry connection, and community celebration.
