'Trailer Park' - 55:01 (Germany)
Director – Stefanie Herrmannsdörfer
Trailer Park is a ride through pop-cultural references. The internet and social media harbour dangers and fascinate at the same time. Choreographer Moritz Ostruschnjak compiles and collages online finds, he and his ten dancers use viral videos and memes a template. The individual scenes alternate in quick succession, like scrolling through a tiktok feed. Popular songs of various musical styles form the framework for a world-wide-web revue full of energy! The empty black stage becomes a non-place somewhere between the analogue and digital world. Unrestrained, funny and sexy!
Moritz Ostruschnjak is an up-and-coming young choreographer who was invited to the Dance Platform Germany 2024 and is also attracting increasing international attention.
tanzmainz, the company of the State Theatre Mainz, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024 and can look back on numerous awards and international successes.

'DuELs' - 58:32 (Norway)
Director – Jonas Åkerlund
DuEls is a dance film by the renowned Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund. It is based on Nagelhus Schia Productions’ successful dance performance choreographed by Damien Jalet and Erna Omarsdottir first presented at the Vigeland museum in Oslo in 2020. Through a series of short and visceral pieces performed in the form of a tour performance through the museum, the dance contributes to release the concentrated energy in Vigeland’s iconic sculptures.
