Welcome to the 2025 Inspired Dance Film Festival.

It is with great pride and joy that I invite you to join us for our sixth season, a celebration of dance in all its forms on screen. This year, we bring together films from over 15 countries, with 12 World Premieres and 18 Australian Premieres — a truly global program that reflects the diversity, creativity, and spirit of the dance community.

Dance has always been more than movement. It is a language of resilience, love, and identity. It connects us across cultures and generations, reminding us of our shared humanity. Through short films, documentaries, extended works, and live performance captures, our 2025 festival offers audiences stories that move us, challenge us, and inspire us.

To our filmmakers, choreographers, dancers, and creative teams — thank you for your artistry and for trusting us to share your vision with the world. To our audiences, thank you for your support and for embracing the beauty of dance on film.
